Former President Alan Garcí­a is plotting his electoral comeback. Ever since his party Partido Aprista Peruano (PAP) became the main opposition last November by seizing 13 of the 25 regional presidencies, Garcí­a has made life as uncomfortable as possible for President Alejandro Toledo without giving any clear indications of what he would do to improve matters. Yesterday, he outlined his intention to form a broad front for the presidential elections in 2006, incorporating businessmen and social organisations.
