MEXICO: US installs hotline
The US has offered Mexico a hotline between the Mexican interior minister and
the Secretary for Homeland Security in the US. This will be the first hotline
between the two countries. Its creation was announced by Roger Noriega, the US
assistant secretary of state and the man responsible for relations between the
US and Latin America.
