NICARAGUA | Cheap Venezuelan oil via Sandinistas. Venezuela has agreed to finance the purchase by Sandinista mayors of oil derivates at a 40% discount. The venture was announced on 20 September by Managua mayor Dionisio Marenco, flanked by Venezuelan ambassador Miguel Gómez and Sandinista presidential candidate Daniel Ortega.
