BRAZIL | Growth prospects upgraded, with caveat. The Confederação Nacional da Indústria (CNI), the umbrella association of industrialists, has raised its GDP growth forecast for this year from 3.2% to 3.5%, aligning it with that of the government. The CNI says that the main driving force will be industrial production, which it now expects to grow by 4.4% rather than 4.2%.
