HONDURAS: Snail's-pace count drags into second week

More than a week after the 27 November elections the electoral authority has yet to produce final results. The latest figures available, four days old at the time of writing, showed Manuel Zelaya of the opposition Partido Liberal (PL) narrowly ahead of Porfirio Lobo of the ruling Partido Nacional (PN). As the delay extends into the second week, tempers have begun to fray.
