VENEZUELA: Strange unveiling of 'conspiracy' by assembly
Venezuelans were treated last week to a puzzling 'revelation' of a conspiracy to disrupt the recent elections and assassinate President Hugo Chávez . It was not announced by the executive or any law-enforcement agency but by leaders of the ruling party's bloc in congress, who did not state clearly where from their evidence - video and voice recordings - had come.
