HONDURAS: Special army unit to support police

President Manuel Zelaya has decided to emulate his peers in El Salvador and Guatemala by bringing in the military to strengthen police action to curb violent crime. He announced this in response to demands by business leaders in San Pedro Sula, the country's second largest city and one of the most affected by violence.
