EL SALVADOR | Battle over Cafta-DR continues. While the government of President Elí­as Antonio Saca has been trying to counter the lingering opposition to the Cafta-DR agreement which went into effect on 1 March by trumpeting the benefits it will bring El Salvador, the Frente Farabundo Martí­ para la Liberación Nacional (FMLN) is seeking a supreme court ruling that the agreement is unconstitutional.
