VENEZUELA-COLOMBIA: Paramilitary spillover denounced

The Venezuelan national assembly decided on 2 May to establish a working party in the border state of Táchira to work out ways to curb incursions by Colombian paramilitary groups. One legislator has accused the authorities of the neighbouring Colombian department of Norte de Santander of colluding with the paramilitary.
