NICARAGUA: Foreign interference on all sides

Foreign interference in Nicaraguan politics has become a major issue in the run-up to the November elections. Venezuelan President Hugo Chávez and a former Salvadorean president have joined US ambassador Paul Trivelli as targets of complaints from different contenders and, in some cases, of accusations from each other.
