BOLIVIA | Regions demand share of gas price rise. Last week two gas-rich regions - the departments of Santa Cruz and Tarija - demanded a share in the gas price increase the government has negotiated with Argentina. The government had decided that the monies, an estimated US$150m a year, should go to strengthening the revived state oil company, YPFB, and particularly its plans to industrialise natural gas within the country.
