GUYANA: Seeking information on Khan's rendition to the US

The Guyanese government has been fending off suggestions that it was somehow complicit in the unclear manoeuvre whereby suspected drug trafficker Shaheed ('Roger') Khan ended up in the hands of US authorities while being ostensibly deported from Suriname to Guyana [WR-06-26]. After having objected publicly to this, it has claimed that it is trying to find out exactly what happened.
