BRAZIL: Urban unemployment fell for the first time this year in June, to 9.7% of the working population. The unemployment rate remained stubbornly at 10.1% for three consecutive months after having increased in the beginning of the year despite better economic growth results in the first quarter of the year, which continued to improve in the second quarter according to forecasts.
