CHILE: Still the region's leading democracy
For the fourth consecutive year Chile topped the annual regional 'index of democratic development' released by the Konrad Adenauer Foundation and Polilat.com. Only two other countries - Costa Rica and Uruguay - reached the "high democratic development" level in IDD-Lat 2006.
