Chávez will have to work for a yes vote

Development:   On 7 December two influential pollsters suggested   Venezuela's President Hugo Chávez will have to work hard to   secure a yes vote in his proposed constitutional referendum to end presidential term limits.

Significance: Venezuelan pollsters warn that the president's continued personal popularity (58%) and his numeric victory in the recent state and municipal elections may not be enough to guarantee him a victory in the referendum, now tentatively slated for 27 February 2009.
