Development:   On 8 December the governor of the Amazon state of Roraima, José de Anchieta Júnior, said he was anticipating violence ahead of a Supreme Federal Court (STF) ruling this week on indigenous land rights, in a controversial case that has pitted indigenous Amazonian Indians against commercial rice farmers.
