Who is he? Ricardo Luis Alfonsín is a national congressman
for the province of Buenos Aires; he is also the first vice-president of the
chamber of deputies (lower house). He is the third of six children from
the union of former President Raúl Ricardo Alfonsín (1983-1987) and María
Lorenza Barrenechea. “Ricardito", as he is commonly referred to in
Argentina, is the only child to follow his father's footsteps into
politics.
