Development: On 21 June, the Paraguayan authorities released the contents of an Ejército del Pueblo Paraguayo (EPP) communiqué they seized after an armed confrontation between 40 police officers and five or six EPP members in Kurusu de Hierro, department of Concepción on 17 June. Two officers were killed in the shoot-out.
