Nicaragua: On 11 August 16 members of the US armed forces arrived in Nicaragua to strengthen the relationship between the two countries' armed forces. The Nicaraguan Vice-President Jaime Morales Carazo announced that the delegation would be made up of seven generals from the US armed forces, headed by Juan Ayala.
