Brazil: The latest index of consumer confidence (ICC) compiled by the Federação de São Paulo (Fecomercio-SP) rose to 162.3 points, its highest level since 1994. Fecomercio said that consumers are availing of easier access to credit, better payment terms and slowing inflation to boost their purchases of high-end consumer goods.
