Venezuela's Chávez threatens BBVA

Development: On live TV on 27 January President Hugo Chávez threatened Pedro Rodrí­guez, the executive president of BBVA Banco Provincial, the country's third largest bank by assets, with expropriation if the bank didn't help deliver on low income housing projects. The bank later issued a statement vowing to work with the government.
