Development: Today (25 March), the Argentine press reported that during a meeting with a group of Latin American journalists in London, Ben Lyon, a member of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO)'s Department of Global Economy, said that the British government would press for its EU partners to approve the pending EU-Southern Common Market (Mercosur) free trade agreement (FTA) by the end of 2012 at the latest.
