Development: On 20 June Venezuela's information minister, Andrés Izarra, officially denied that the recuperating President Hugo Chávez was en route home from his stint in hospital in Havana, Cuba, shooting down earlier comments by a national deputy from the ruling Partido Unido Socialista de Venezuela (PSUV).
