ECUADOR: Picking up

The economic policy ministry claims that economy is picking up, even though the first quarter is usually the slowest for the economy. The official figure for GDP growth will be published by the central bank on 30 June. In the final quarter of 2010 GDP grew by 2.4% quarter-on-quarter
