ARGENTINA: Still on course

The latest economic statistics point to an economy that will get through at least until the October 2011 presidential elections without major mishap. Unemployment is falling, the tax position looks sustainable, at least in the short term, and the private sector is confident, despite the government's long-standing meddling with inflation data.
