MEXICO: Mexico admits US deployment

Two Mexican ministers admitted to congress’s joint standing security committee on 17 August that US agents were active in Mexico. One of them, Francisco Blake, the interior minister, said that all the US agencies were operating under the Mexican constitution and international treaty agreements, and added that there was no chance of US contractors being deployed in Mexico.
