PERU: Ollanta is aiming high

The President-elect, Ollanta Humala, who takes office on 28 July, is aiming to keep real GDP growth above 6% a year and to reduce poverty by reforming social programmes. The statement of intent came from Luis Castilla, who gave a wide ranging interview on 23 July to the daily El Comercio.
