BRAZIL-REGION: Flying start for the new 'border strategy’

Within days of having received their orders from President Dilma Rousseff, Brazil’s foreign affairs and defence ministers were shuttling to the capitals of neighbouring countries to negotiate their governments’ participation in the creation of the ‘common conflict-free space’, which is the main aim of Brazil’s new ‘border strategy’.
