PARAGUAY | Spurt of activity by EPP. On 13 July a leaflet claimed for the Ejército del Pueblo Paraguayo (EPP) the torching of a tractor at a farm in Paso Barreto, a town 58 kilometres north of Concepción, capital of the eponymous border department. The attack was staged by a group of three armed persons, two men and a woman, who forced a farmhand to collect firewood to set the tractor alight.
