Who is he? Baldizón is the presidential candidate for his Libertad Democrática Renovada (Líder) party. He came second in the 11 September Guatemalan presidential election, getting 23.4% of the vote to 36.6% for the right-wing former general Otto Pérez Molina of the Partido Patriota (PP). The two are due to face-off in the 6 November second round run-off.
