Development: On 15 November the Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias de Colombia (Farc) announced that Timoleón Jiménez (known as ‘Timochenko’, but whose real name is Rodrigo Londoño Echeverri) had  been unanimously elected by the secretariat to lead the Farc.
