Development: On 13 December Colombia’s ministry of foreign relations acted upon an application filed by Attorney General Viviane Morales and submitted a formal extradition request for María del Pilar Hurtado, a former director of the (now defunct) national intelligence agency (DAS, 2007-2009), to its Panamanian counterpart.
