COLOMBIA: Bit of a boom

The strong first 17 months of President Juan Manuel Santos’s administration have prompted foreign investors to reassess their view of the economy. In the first half of January, foreign investment poured in, pushing the value of the Colombian peso up by 6% against the US dollar.
