ARGENTINA: Fernández puts politics before aesthetics

President Cristina Fernández formally took over the reins of government again after a three-week absence on 25 January, delivering a 45-minute-long speech that was true to her style. She joked, played with words, and answered all her detractors (both foreign and domestic), providing enough material for headlines of all sorts.
