Development: On 4 March the commander of the Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias de Colombia (Farc), ‘Timochenko’ (Rodrigo Londoño Echeverri), published a letter (dated a day earlier) in which he alleged that the recent increase in (purported) Farc attacks near civilian populations were in fact carried out by military intelligence.
