BRAZIL | ‘Hate massacre averted’. On 22 March the police in Curitiba, Paraná, arrested two men, Emerson Eduardo Rodrigues and Marcello Valle Silveira Mello, who have been charged with inciting discrimination, the commission of criminal offences, and child pornography. Police seized from them a map of a house in Brasília where students of the Universidade de Brasília (UnB) hold parties and indications that they intended to conduct a massacre there.
