Mexico | Transport sector calls strike. On 26 April various transport workers from several Mexican states announced that they will be converging on Mexico City today (27 April) to stage road blockades to protest fuel price increases. The president of the transport organisations alliance, Rafeal Ortiz Pacheco, said that some 150 truck and trailer drivers will block various access roads leading in and out of Mexico City.
