Bolivia’s Morales under pressure

Development: On 9 May seven people were injured following clashes between police and protesters in La Paz during the first of a three-day national strike called by Bolivia’s main trade union federation, the Central Obrera Boliviana (COB), in complaint at the minimum wage increase decreed by the government led by President Evo Morales on 1 May.
