HONDURAS | Aerial interdiction marred by ‘collateral’ deaths. On 7 May the Honduran military celebrated the location and destruction of 17 clandestine airstrips in the north-eastern department of Gracias a Dios, as part of the ‘Armadillo’ series of operations which are about to continue with actions against another 50 airstrips (25 in Olancho, 15 in Colón and 10 in El Paraíso).
