Spate of bombings in Tamaulipas. On 22 June three bombs exploded in Ciudad Victoria, capital of the northern border state of Tamaulipas. A fourth device was deactivated by police. The first bomb went off inside a branch of HSBC bank and injured six people; the second, outside a branch of Banamex (an affiliate of Citigroup), injuring a passerby. The third was detonated between two official cars parked outside a private residence; it claimed no casualties. The fourth device was located inside a federal government building.
