SECURITY| El Norte attacked again. On 29 July Nuevo León state authorities reported that the offices of the local daily El Norte in San Pedro Garza García, near Monterrey, had been attacked by a group of armed men. The attack on the newspaper offices, which is part of the Grupo Reforma, is the second one this month. According to the local police, four masked men entered the paper’s premises and doused the building with petrol before setting it alight. The attackers fled the scene whilst firing high-calibre weapons at the building. No injuries were reported and Grupo Reforma said that no criminal group has claimed responsibility.
