Claws out for Lobo’s ‘Tiger’

Development: On 11-12 August the office of President Porfirio Lobo and Security Minister Pompeyo Bonilla reiterated official support for the recently appointed Honduran police chief, Juan Carlos Bonilla Valladares, following press suggestions that the US government is withholding cooperation funds for law enforcement pending official enquiries into Bonilla’s human rights record.
