POLITICS | Corrientes to sue the federal government before the CSJ. On 16 August Ricardo Colombi, the governor of the Argentine province of Corrientes, said that “in a period not greater than 30 days, we will be turning to the court [the supreme court of justice, CSJ]” to demand that the administration of President Cristina Fernández stops retaining 15% of the province’s co-participation funds as stipulated under the 1992 Fiscal Pact – roughly AR$900m (US$195.10m) for 2012.
