*** GRENADA OUTLOOK ‘STABLE’. Grenada’s ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) is in some disarray due to internal splits, often seen as between the rural supporters of Prime Minister Tillman Thomas and the ‘urbanites’. The prime minister has faced two no-confidence motions in three months. Thomas must call an election by mid-2013 at the latest, and the 30 September party convention is the NDC’s last opportunity to put its house in order.
