ECUADOR | Tourism agreement with Haiti. On 12 September the Ecuadorean government announced that Tourism Minister Freddy Ehlers and his Haitian counterpart, Stéphanie Balmir Villedrouin, are to sign a bilateral tourism cooperation agreement. A tourism ministry statement said that the ministers will sign a Memorandum of Understanding that will pave the way for cooperation in the tourism sector.
