Development: On 20 September Miguel Pérez, the executive secretary of the Federación Sindical de Trabajadores Mineros de Bolivia (FSTMB), said that the FSTMB, which represents formally employed miners, would not participate in government-called talks aimed at resolving a dispute between formal and cooperative miners over the development of the tin/zinc Colquiri mine in La Paz.
