Development: On 13 November the UN World Food Programme (WFP) warned that over 1.5m Haitians – more than 10% of the population (10.5m in 2011 on World Bank figures) - could remain at risk of food insecurity well into 2013 without assistance to recover from a series of natural disasters that have hit the country over the past six months, including a drought, Tropical Storm Isaac and Hurricane Sandy.
