REGION | CAN plans to integrate labour market. At a 22 November meeting of the Andean community of nations (CAN) in Lima, the labour ministers of all four CAN member states (Ecuador, Bolivia, Colombia and Peru) agreed on the general guidelines they are to adopt in order to enact the long-stalled ‘Andean Labour Migration Instrument’, which envisions the free movement of labour within the bloc’s members.
