Development: On 5 December Nicaragua’s President Daniel Ortega suggested that Colombia assist Nicaragua in carrying out joint anti-drugs patrols in the Caribbean waters newly awarded to Nicaragua by the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in a 19 November ruling on their bilateral territorial and maritime dispute.
