MEXICO | US Elections. Mexican commentators noted that in the second of the three US presidential debates on 7 October, neither Barack Obama, from the Democrats nor John McCain, from the Republicans, mentioned immigration or Latin America. The debate, in Nashville, was supposed to focus on foreign affairs.
